‘ChiefsAholic’ Documentary Gets Prime Video Premiere Date and Teaser

UPDATED with teaser: Prime Video has scheduled the premiere of December 24th ChiefsAholic: A wolf in Chiefs clothinga true crime documentary about Kansas City Chiefs superfan and serial bank robber Xaviar Babudar.

Director: Dylan Sires, ChiefsAholic: A wolf in chief’s garb follows the harrowing story of Babudar – known as “ChiefsAholic”. Known for his distinctive wolf costume and hilarious social media antics, Babudar rose to fame as one of Kansas City’s most ardent fans. But a secret life came to light when he was arrested in Bixby, Oklahoma, and uncovered a series of unsolved bank robberies across the Midwest. Through interviews given by Babudar himself, ChiefsAholic: A wolf in Chiefs clothing examines critical moments in the events surrounding Babudar’s first arrest and offers a first-hand look at his subsequent journey.

The film will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The streamer released a teaser trailer on Friday that aired during the Kansas City Chiefs-Las Vegas Raiders football game. You can watch it here:
