“Chris Rock’s ‘SNL’ Monologue Criticizes the Murder of Healthcare CEO Jake Paul

Chris Rock hosted “Saturday Night Live” and filled his opening monologue with jokes about various news topics.

Targets of his stand-up set included Jake Paul and his boxing match with Mike Tyson, about which he joked, “Who is this Jake Paul?” This 27-year-old punches a 60-year-old in the face. Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Stop it! Who will he fight next, Morgan Freeman? I hate Jake Paul. I felt the landlord’s hatred for him.”

He also didn’t mince words about the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, saying, “I’m truly sorry for the family. Everyone is fixated on how good looking this guy is. If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care. They had already given him the chair – he would be dead. But he actually killed a man – a man with a family. A man with children. I have my condolences. This is a real person, you know? But you also have to say, ‘You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot.'”

New President Trump’s promise of an aggressive deportation policy was also skewered by the comedian, who said: “The Menendez brothers are getting out of prison – just in time to be deported. Trump will deport them, you murderous Mexicans!”

He also took aim at Trump’s youngest best friend, Elon Musk, saying, “He works with the number one African American in the world.” The richest African American in the world: Elon Musk. That’s right. He is African American. Elon has more children than the Cleveland Browns. That’s right. Nobody knows how to get rid of people that well.”

The comedian has hosted the sketch comedy series before, dishing out humorous jokes about the pandemic and politics in 2020 and 2014.

Rock was also a cast member on SNL from 1990 to 1993.
