The latest Top 25 Coaches poll is for college football and takes place after Conference Championship weekend. That left just a handful of the teams ranked in last week’s poll back in action, although those games had a much bigger impact.

Most of the focus on Power Four teams during Conference Championship week was on these games related to the College Football Playoffs. Specifically, which teams were able to win and effectively secure a spot in the playoffs. Meanwhile, others were worried about seeding and the bubble. Nevertheless, there was also room for movement within the trainer survey.

It was also an exciting week. It took place on Friday evening Boise State Broncos dominated in the Mountain West Championship. Then, the Georgia Bulldogs Beat that Texas Longhorns in extra time. Now it is Oregon Ducks survived a fight with the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Clemson Tigers absentmindedly avoided the comeback SMU Mustangs. Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, was this Arizona State Sun Devils dominates the Cyclones in the state of Iowa in the Big 12.
