Cold start to the week in the Louisville area with a few snow showers

After light snowfall this weekend, we are now starting December with a very cool note. Highs will remain stuck in the 30s on Monday and Tuesday. The usual high temperatures for this time of year are in the low 50s. There could be isolated storms and snow showers again on Monday, and it will remain very cold. Highs will likely only warm into the 30s. For some of our southern counties, a dusting may be possible, but it doesn’t look overly difficult. Temperatures on Tuesday will remain in the cool zone – highs won’t recover until the mid-30s, but skies will be dry. We’ll be a little warmer by Wednesday, but our temperatures will still be a little below normal. A weak disturbance may pass through our area and bring the possibility of light rainfall.
