YOU. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. All right, let’s talk a little bit about what’s happening. HERE’S A LOOK AT YOUR WEATHER HEADLINES. Good afternoon everyone. We start with a temperature drop of 20 to 30 degrees overnight into tomorrow morning. AS A STRENGTHENING COLD FRONT IS PASSING THROUGH TODAY, BRINGING IN VERY COLD AND DRY AIR. ALSO A COOL DAY TOMORROW. It will be difficult for us to warm up from such a cold morning. And then more and more cold fronts are on the way throughout this week and into next week. AND ACCORDING TO THE LONG RANGE COMPUTER MODELS, WHICH ARE 14 DAYS OR SO, SEVERAL COLD FRONTS ARE ON THE WAY THROUGH MOST OF JANUARY. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE NATIONAL RADAR IMAGE. WE REALLY HAVE NO PRECIPITATION IN OUR AREA TO SHOW YOU, BUT WE HAVE A FEW SHOWERS HERE OFF THE COAST THAT WILL STAY OFF THE COAST. FUTURE TRACKS SIGNS THAT THE CHANCE OF RAIN IS REALLY LOW ALL MORNING AND THURSDAY. More like Friday and early Saturday. But something else is happening here on Saturday. A low pressure area is really coming together in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s going to carry some really heavy rains all the way to the Panhandle. FOR US. This cold front will move through our area on Saturday afternoon, giving us time to warm up for the first part of the day. BUT THEN LATER DAY WE START COOLING AGAIN FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. IT’S ACTUALLY GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL WARM DAY, BUT IT WILL COOL DOWN AS THIS FRONT MOVES THROUGH. AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE SOME CHANCES OF SPREAD RAIN BEHIND THE FRONT. COOLER AND DRIER AIR IS QUICKLY SETTING IN AND ANOTHER FRONT ON THE WAY ON MONDAY EVENING WILL MAKE FOR A VERY COOL TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. CURRENT WINDS ARE FROM THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST. WE HAVE TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 60’S IN VERO BEACH AND 63′ IN SEBASTIAN, 62′ IN PALM CITY, 65′ IN OKEECHOBEE. NOW AS YOU DRIVE WEST INTO JUPITER FARMS, PAHOKEE, YOU ARE AT 58 DEGREES. CLEWISTON AT 60, 65 DEGREES WELLINGTON WEST PALM LAKE WORTH ROAD DELRAY AND 64 IN BOCA. RIGHT NOW. LOXAHATCHEE YOU CHECKED AT 67 DEGREES. HOW WILL THE TEMPERATURES, BUT WIND COOLING INCLUDED, CHOOSE WHEN WE GET INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS TONIGHT? Well, here’s the breakdown for you. AND LOOK AT THIS CAREFULLY. ABOVE, THE TOP NUMBERS ARE THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURES. But where they separate is in the wind-chilled temperatures. So here, 2 a.m., 4 a.m., 6 a.m., we’re talking about cool winds in Palm Beach County in the 40s and maybe we’ll be approaching the upper 30s there by the time we get there around 7 a.m. Take a look at the Treasure Coast and OKEECHOBEE COUNTY AS WE ARRIVE TONIGHT. LOOK AT THIS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACTUAL TEMPERATURES AND WIND COOL TEMPERATURES WHICH WILL BE IN THE 30’S AND POTENTIALLY EVEN IN THE LOW 30’S BY 7 AM TOMORROW. So it will be around 39 degrees, but by tomorrow morning it will feel more like 33, maybe even 32 degrees. A SMALL BOATING ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR BOATERS TODAY ALONG THE NORTHERN TREASURE COAST AND IN OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, AND THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ON AREA BEACHES. COOL AND AIRY, MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES MID TO UPPER 60S AND A LITTLE COOLER WIND FROM THE NORTH-NORTHWEST. AS WE START TONIGHT. HERE ARE THE NIGHTTIME TEMPERATURES, AT LEAST IN OUR FORECAST. Right now we’re expecting around 38 degrees for an overnight low in Vero Beach, 39 Port Saint Lucie, 37, in Okeechobee. WHICH EXPLAINS WHY WHEN YOU CHOOSE A FEW DEGREES WHEN THE WIND COOLS IT COMES HERE, THERE, NEAR THE FREEZING MARK, OR AT LEAST FEEL LIKE THE BELLE LIGHTING AT 40 DEGREES BECAUSE A WIND OVER THE WARMER WATER OF THE SEA IS BLOWING. And so in the end it won’t be quite as cold there, but still cold. 38 INDIANTOWN, 42. IN JUPITER, 44. WEST PALM, 46 DEGREES IN BOCA. OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND THEN A LITTLE WARM UP, BUT NOT MUCH TOMORROW. I have a hard time getting into the upper 50s and low 60s. We’ll see a warm-up on Friday and a bit more on Saturday. UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S. BUT THE CHANCE THAT IT COULD RAIN WHILE THE COLD FRONT PASSES THROUGH. Temperatures will drop Sunday and Monday, and a second front is on its way here. On Monday evening you can watch temperatures drop into the 40s on Monday evening and struggle to get the temperature down to zero
