College football fans flock to downtown Atlanta for the quarterfinals of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl playoffs

Thousands of college football fans are flocking to downtown Atlanta, where two of the best teams in the country will face off in the Peach Bowl on Wednesday night.

Fans from Arizona State and Texas met at the Georgia Aquarium on Tuesday for fan night and a big pep rally.

Fans were thrilled as their school’s bands performed their fight songs as they prepared for the College Football Playoff quarterfinal game.

Fans of all ages traveled from far and wide to be there.

Channel 2’s Michael Seiden I met a couple from San Francisco who are facing a dilemma because of “a house divided.”

“I went to school there from 2012 to 2016. So… some bad years. But that’s it, I think we look really good,” said Texas fan Addison Chu.

“It’s a lot of fun. I lived here when I was very, very young, when I was a baby, so I don’t really remember it. But I feel like everyone is really nice. That’s something I’ve noticed since I’ve been here,” said Arizona State University fan Addison Davis.

“So what happens after the game? Are you staying together?” Seiden asked.

“I don’t know, we’ll have to see how it goes tomorrow,” she laughed. “Just kidding.”
