College Football Playoff Scores, Results: Ohio State defeats Oregon in Rose Bowl; Texas can beat ASU in the Peach Bowl

Three teams have booked their tickets to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Who will be the fourth?

Penn State started its quarterfinals with a 31-14 win over Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl on Tuesday. Texas joined PSU in the semifinals with a dramatic double-overtime win over Arizona State in the Peach Bowl on Wednesday afternoon. Then, right at the start of the Rose Bowl, Ohio State defeated Oregon in a stunning victory.

The final game of the quarterfinals – the Sugar Bowl showdown between Georgia and Notre Dame – was postponed until Thursday after a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans in the early hours of Jan. 1 left at least 10 people dead and dozens more dead were injured.

    The Oregon defense gets a big stop and just like that the Ducks have the ball back.

    The Ducks simply can’t build anything offensively and are forced to punt again.
