College Football Playoff Series: Schedule, TV for Playoffs

After a captivating 15-week college football season full of unforgettable moments and unexpected surprises, the highly anticipated College Football Playoffs begin. With 12 teams still in the running for the coveted national title, the excitement is palpable.

In the first round of the College Football Playoff, teams seeded 5th through 12th participate in elimination games. The action begins with a Friday night showdown between No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 10 Indiana. Saturday will be a three-game day. The winners of these matches receive the right to play in the quarterfinals against one of the top four teams.

The top four teams from the quarterfinals advance to the deciding semifinals, which will be played in either the Orange Bowl on January 9th or the Cotton Bowl on January 10th. The results of these matchups will determine the two teams that will compete for the collegiate National Football Playoff Championship on January 20 in Atlanta.
