College Football Playoff Series: Updated schedule, scores and results for the 2025 CFP Quarterfinals

There are only seven teams left in the first-ever 12-team round of the College Football Playoff. With the second round of the CFP underway, we are one step closer to crowning this year’s national champions.

With the change in format, the path to winning the National Championship is a little different and might take some getting used to. Most notably, the entire playoffs span a month. The long schedule might cause some stress for fans of the teams involved, but college football fans across the country are certainly excited that six more CFP games will be played.

These six games will feature a star-studded lineup of some of the best talent in college football. In the second round alone, fans already have their eyes on Ashton Jeanty and the Boise State Broncos, with Will Howard and the towering Ohio State Buckeyes among the other teams still in contention for the national title.

The remaining six games of the CFP will be broadcast on ESPN and streamed simultaneously on ESPN+ and Fubo. After the quarterfinals, all three remaining games begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

When do the College Football Playoffs end?

  • End date: January 20, 2025

The national champion will be crowned on Monday, January 20 (Martin Luther King Day) at Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
