College Football Playoffs 2024 – Byes, Bracket and New Top 25

The College Football Playoff committee released its fifth ranking on Tuesday, the final indicator before determining the 12-team playoff field on Sunday.

The group consists of the five top-ranked conference champions and seven other major teams. The top four conference champions receive first-round byes, while the other eight schools play their games at the home sites of the better-seeded teams.
