Cooper Kupp had an extremely quiet night on Thursday.

Kupp was targeted three times but failed to make a catch in the Los Angeles Rams’ 12-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

While rainy conditions caused Los Angeles’ passing attack to struggle, six other Rams players still finished the game with at least one grab.

Kupp’s team was able to secure a win, but fantasy football managers were surprised by his disappointing performance.

Could be worse than Cooper Kupp’s fantasy managers.
Actually no. That really didn’t work. This will hurt for a long, long time. But through years of therapy and self-reflection, you may be able to become about 80-90% back to being the person you were tonight.

Thursday marked the first game Kupp finished without a catch since Week 10 of the 2019 season.

Puka Nacua was Matthew Stafford’s favorite target against the 49ers, hauling in seven balls for 97 yards.

It’s worth noting that no other Rams player rushed for more than 25 yards in the contest.

Still, it was unexpected to see Kupp’s minimal impact. The Super Bowl 56 MVP is in the midst of another impressive season, catching 63 passes for 657 yards and six touchdowns in nine appearances before Thursday’s loss.

Kupp missed four games due to one earlier this year Ankle injurybut he has remained a key part of Los Angeles’ offense even after his return in Week 8. In fact, the Rams have a 6-2 record since he returned to the field.

Although the team only won one of its first five games to start the year, Los Angeles has further increased its postseason chances with its most recent outing. According to Next Gen Stats, the Rams are now 8-6 on the season and have a 50 percent playoff probability.

For fantasy managers, Kupp could struggle to regain momentum in Week 16. While the Rams face a New York Jets team that has lost four straight games, the Jets still boast the fourth-best pass defense in the league.

However, it shouldn’t be too difficult for Kupp to top Thursday’s performance.
