CoryxKenshin returns to YouTube after a year-long hiatus

CoryxKenshin, also known as Cory Kenshin, one of the most popular gaming developers on YouTube, is back on the platform after over a year of silence.

The 28-year-old YouTuber, known for his horror game playthroughs, humorous commentary, and the “Spooky Scary Sunday” series, surprised fans on December 13, 2024, with a long-awaited video revealing his secret project.

Cory, who has more than 19 million subscribers, previously made headlines with a brief cameo in Blumhouse’s 2023 film Five Nights at Freddy’s. However, he went completely silent on social media after that and his fan base was eager for updates.

In his long-awaited return video, Cory explained that he spent his break working on a new manga series called Monsters We Make.

Described as a science fiction epic, the series features battles between alien monsters and humans. Along with the announcement, an animated trailer was unveiled showcasing the exciting premise. The official release is scheduled for December 16, 2024 and fans can log on to the manga’s website for updates.

After being away from content creation for over a year, CoryxKenshin reassured his fans by saying, “Thank God, it’s nice to finally be back.” He also referenced a funny encounter at a zoo in August , as fans excited about his return joked about his absence.

Although his long hiatus led many to speculate about his retirement, his return with a new project marks an exciting new chapter for the creator as his manga debut is just around the corner.
