CoryxKenshin urges Netflix and Mappa to adapt his manga into an anime

YouTube sensation CoryxKenshin has returned after a nearly two-year hiatus to unveil his ambitious new project, a manga titled Monsters We Make. Known for his captivating content, Cory is now looking to bring his story to life on screen by collaborating with leading animation studios.

The creator uploaded a video on December 13th announcing his comeback and the release of the manga, which catapulted him to YouTube’s trending page. In a follow-up video on December 16, Cory revealed his “ultimate goal” – securing an anime adaptation for Monsters We Make.

Cory went directly to top studios including Netflix, Crunchyroll and MAPPA, known for their work on Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. He encouraged them to seize the opportunity and emphasized his belief in the manga’s potential. “I have a feeling Monsters We Make is going to be special,” Cory said. “Netflix, Crunchyroll – Mappa, I’m looking at you. If you want to bid, you should do so early. I think I have something.”

The YouTuber stressed the importance of proving fans’ interest and urged viewers to support the manga by purchasing a copy. He also announced a new yet-to-be-announced project that was in development, further fueling excitement among his fanbase.

This isn’t Cory’s first major project outside of YouTube. He previously starred in Blumhouse’s film Five Nights at Freddy’s, where he showcased his versatility as a content creator.

With “Monsters We Make,” CoryxKenshin has set high goals and wants to leave a lasting impression in the anime industry.
