Lainey Wilson and former NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges have been one of country music’s most popular couples of 2024, so it’s only natural that fans are buzzing about whether they might soon take the next step and tie the knot get married.

Bunnie Xo also wonders. During a recent interview hosted by CMT, Bunnie Wilson confessed that she is “manifesting” a wedding for her in 2025.

“No pressure, bro!” Wilson joked, looking directly into the camera and appearing to speak to her boyfriend.

It seems like one few Pressure be OK. If you listen to the “4X4XU” singer, she has been hoping that a marriage proposal would come her way for some time now. “Maybe I need to propose to him. We’re waiting,” she continued.

This isn’t the first time Wilson has joked about being the one to propose to Hodges. When she dropped this year Whirlwind On her album, she included a song called “Counting Chickens” that seemed to suggest that she was ready for marriage. When Taste of Country pressed her for details on whether or not Hodges inspired the song, she had this to say:

“I guess I have to propose to his a– because he hasn’t proposed to me!”

• Hodges is a former quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
• He and Wilson went public at the ACM Awards in spring 2023.

But the singer also said that she and Hodges have good reasons for taking their time getting engaged.

“I think it needs to take place at a time in our lives where we really have the time to enjoy it,” she reflected. “Right now it would be like, ‘Oh shoot, I’m engaged. Okay, on to the next thing.”

Still, it seems like Wilson would welcome a suggestion at any time. After Bunnie expressed her confidence that Hodges would eventually be able to do the honors, Wilson responded with a smile.

“I like that,” she added.
