Water Fair | 27th-29th December | Pavilion Bukit Jalil | 11am-9pm | RM5 per adult

Stop by the Aquatic Expo this weekend to see exotic aquatic life and explore fascinating aquariums. If you have an aquarium at home, you may be able to get everything you need to spruce it up in time for Chinese New Year. The entry fee is RM5 per adult via walk-in entry, while entry is free for children under 12 years and seniors aged 60 years and above.

The NYE Market & Exhibition brings together talented refugees from diverse cultures and nationalities to showcase their unique stories and hopes through cultural crafts and products, traditional foods, art exhibitions and photography, and carol performances.

Pingmin Market hosts the New Year Countdown Celebration at Sunway Pyramid with a lively market, live musical performances and a grand fireworks display.

Graduation show for young art entrepreneurs | Until Dec 29 | GMBB | 11am-8pm | Free public event

Meet the 17 young art entrepreneurs and learn more about their innovative business presentations and creative products at Level 3A, GMBB this weekend. The event has been extended until December 29th. Guests can also show their support by purchasing the artists’ products or following them on their social media platforms. Featured artists include Syrcaa, Pipi Merah Art Studio and The Budak MSCHVS.

New Year Enter (Fun Market) | Dec 31, 2024 – Jan 5, 2025 | Central Market | 10am-10pm | Free public event

No plans for New Year’s Eve? Visit the New Year Enter market for an interesting time. Apart from the countdown, there is a lot to see and do there. Guests can shop, dine and enjoy live music while waiting for 2025.

Darkroom Workshop – Orientation | January 4th and 5th, 2025 | Kanta Studio, GMBB | 3 p.m. | RM30/person

Kanta Studio, a dedicated portrait studio practicing traditional silver print photography, is newly opening at GMBB. There will be a series of events and workshops to kick off 2025, including the Darkroom Workshop. The one-hour session includes an introduction to darkroom features and equipment, as well as preliminary testing and processes. Ride The Art Exhibition | Until January 21, 2025 | GMBB | 10am-10pm | Free public event

The Art for All (A4A) Design Gallery is hosting the exhibition “Ride the Art: A Celebration of Art and Skate Culture” on Level 3A-28 in the GMBB. The exclusive exhibition presents the works of 13 notable local and international artists in one place. Featured artists include Michael Chuah, 1000tentacles, Enya Lim, Janggutbear, Shafiq Nordin, Kamaboko, Lala Company, Tu!!, Jimsee and MonKiddo.
