Morgan Wallen gave us another thing to talk about in 2024.

The country star shared his new song “Smile.”

The ballad is about the lonely reality of a couple’s life outside of a seemingly happy photo.

The music video is set on a late night talk show. He glances at a woman sitting in a chair across the room, but says nothing to her. As he sings the first lines of “Love Somebody,” he spontaneously sings a “smile” while the support crew is confused. Meanwhile, the woman watches Wallen’s performance.

After he finishes the song to applause, he goes back to his dressing room alone.
