UFC on ESPN 63 takes place on Saturday and MMA Junkie has you covered with live round-by-round coverage and official results. The event (ESPNews, ESPN2, ESPN+) will take place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

The headliner pits former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington (17-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) against rising contender Joaquin Buckley (20-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC). In the bantamweight co-feature, UFC Hall of Famer Cub Swanson (29-14 MMA, 14-10 UFC) meets Billy Quarantillo (18-6 MMA, 6-4 UFC).

Jamey-Lyn Horth vs. Miranda Maverick

Round 1 – You touch them and come into play with opening disputes. Horth controls the center of the cage while both look for openings. Maverick shoots forward with a combo, but can’t connect. An overhand left narrowly misses the target a moment later as they continue to move lightly around the octagon. Maverick adds variety with a takedown shot. The single leg attempt leads to a clinch along the fence. Maverick tries to kick out the leg, but Horth stays upright. Maverick continues to prepare for the takedown while Horth counters with, um… interesting hand placement. Maverick pulls out the leg to take Horth down, but can’t keep her on the mat. The round ends in the clinch.

Davey Grant vs. Ramon Taveras

Round 1 – No glove touch here. Grant starts the action with a few leg kicks that go in and out. Taveras lands a quick left-hander. Not far behind lands another one with more power. Grant goes back to kicks and lands on the leg and body. Taveras punches to the body and Grant gives him one right back. Grant delivers a hard kick to the body. Taveras lands a hard counterpunch as Grant closes in. A headbutt from Grant a second later almost goes home. Taveras cracks with a hard counterattack. Grant’s leg kick lands on the family jewels and the fight is stopped for almost a minute. Back in the action, Taveras pushes forward as the crowd chants “USA.” Grant lands an inside kick followed by a punch. A moment later, Grant tries a spin back kick, but Taveras defends it well. Grant continues to offer a variety of percussion techniques right up to the horn.

Round 2 – Grant picks up right where he left off with punches and kicks, but Taveras drops him with a big counter! Taveras debates whether to follow him to the floor, but he lets Grant get up as the crowd begins chanting again. Grant resets and attacks with more kicks to the legs, body and head. Grant threatens to change levels as he continues to lead the dance with punches. A spinning attack from Grant is blocked by Taveras and Grant hits the canvas. He emerges quickly and continues to offer high-volume attacks. A hard punch combination from Grant scores. Taveras remains strong defensively, but struggles to find opportunities to get his own offense going due to Grant’s volume.

Round 3 – In the first exchange of blows of the final round, they exchange clean shots. Grant keeps the pressure on with volume punches, but Taveras starts throwing more jabs. Grant turns and strikes forward with a series of punches in support of Taveras. Grant continues to throw punches and put together combinations, some of which are blocked by Taveras. Another solid combination from Grant lands, this time with an added kick. Another combo lands for Grant, punctuated by a hard right hand. Every time Taveras offers a punch, Grant immediately shoots back. With 30 seconds to go, they both increase the volume as the audience gets louder. Both end up in the final sequences, but Grant ends the fight with a taunt and a smile.

Josefine Knutsson vs. Piera Rodriguez

Round 1 – They score quickly in the middle and Rodriguez rocks Knutsson with a quick combination! Rodriguez follows with a takedown attempt, but Knutsson is able to keep his balance. They fight for position at the fence. Rodriguez manages to pick up Knutsson from the corner and throw him to the canvas. Knutsson takes her back to the cage and jumps up. Back in the middle, Rodriguez charges forward with punches in the clinch and scores another takedown. Knutsson makes a gogoplata attempt, but he’s not there. They return to the feet and deliver punches and kicks. Rodriguez fires in with punches again and lands another takedown in the middle of the cage. Knutsson lands a few hard elbows from her back and Rodriguez stands up. Rodriguez plays the up-down position for a moment before moving back down to take side control. Knutsson stays active from behind, but Rodriguez rains down a few hard elbows from above.

Round 2 – Rodriguez comes out quickly with punches and a kick to the body. Knutsson shoots back. Rodriguez shoots in and does another takedown, but Knutsson gets to the fence and wall and gets up. Knutsson circles out of the clinch and narrowly misses with a head kick. Knutsson kicks to the body and lands a right. Another combination from Knutsson hits, but Rodriguez gets a takedown. Midway through the round, Rodriguez works on the ground and strikes from full guard. Rodriguez goes all out and strikes, but Knutsson throws her legs up to escape with a nice swing. They’re back on their feet, but Rodriguez keeps the lead and sticks to Knutsson like glue to the cage. She gets a single leg, but Knutsson almost turns to take the lead.

Round 3 – They circle each other in the middle. Knutsson lands a hard front kick to the body. Rodriguez gathers himself and shoots for the kill. Knutsson looks for a guillotine, but Rodriguez manages to half-block and escape. Rodriguez goes back to work on the ground, pounding away while maintaining control as time ticks away. Knutsson works his way closer to the fence, but Rodriguez is briefly in full action. Knutsson regains full guard but can’t improve beyond that as Rodriguez fires one final shot.
