Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers recap: News, highlights, results

The Dallas Cowboys will play on a Sunday for the first time since before Thanksgiving and will face the Carolina Panthers. Dallas suffered a tough loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, who felt like their season was all but officially over.

The Cowboys continue to deal with injury after injury and appear to be a shell of their former selves as Christmas approaches. On the other hand, the Panthers are finding some form of late, as former number one pick Bryce Young is finally looking like the player his franchise traded for a king’s ransom to get the No. 1 spot in the first place.

A year ago, the Cowboys announced that Jimmy Johnson would finally be inducted into the Ring of Honor before their game against Carolina. This year there was no such announcement, just another game of the season that many can’t wait to see end.

We will update this post quarterly over time and then reorganize it in chronological order to serve as a complete recap of the game.

Let’s go, cowboys!
