The Dallas Cowboys close out their season on Sunday against the Washington Commanders and for some fans, that conclusion can’t come too soon.

This season has been a bad one for the Cowboys in many ways and the only hope to turn things around lies in the offseason. Of course we have to get there for things to happen legitimately.

As mentioned, the offseason will begin before the end of the day, after the Washington Commanders finish trying to either secure the No. 6 seed (which they can do with a win) or secure the No. 7 seed (which they can obviously do with a defeat succeeds) for their playoff fate.

This post serves as a running summary of all the actions that will take place. We’ll update it quarterly and sort everything in chronological order for you after the game ends.

If the Commanders lose this game, they will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the playoffs; However, with a win the Commanders would create a situation in which Philly would host the Green Bay Packers.

Nothing will make the Cowboys’ playoff loss last season better, but it wouldn’t hurt if Green Bay did the same against the Eagles.
