It’s cold, cold, cold!

It’s so cold this Sunday And are Monday First alert weather days due to very low temperatures and dangerous wind chill, especially at night.

Don’t let the sunny skies fool you. Today’s highs will struggle to get out of the low 20s, but it will feel more like the teens at best.

It will be even colder this evening with lows in the single digits and teens.

Early Monday morning, wind chills are expected to be below zero for many north and west of New York City. We expect single-digit numbers elsewhere.

Aside from the cold, tomorrow will be calm and the sky will be mostly sunny.

There will be some light snow/rain showers early Tuesday morning (Christmas Eve), our next chance for precipitation after that Last week’s snowstorm. It won’t cause any problems, but it’s just enough for a few festive snowflakes.

In the afternoon it will be dry and the sun will shine occasionally. Highs will be in the mid 30s.

The weather looks calm Wednesday for Christmas and the first night of Hanukkah. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures closer to normal, around 40 degrees.
