Wind chills will drop to freezing or below by morning. Slippery patches are possible as light rain and snow moves in overnight.

OK ALLISON, THE SCHOOLS ARE ALREADY CALLING ABOUT THIS COLD WEATHER. What are we looking forward to? Well, guess what? WHILE WE HAVE SEEN THE TEMPERATURES AT 100% SO FAR THIS WINTER, WE HAVE NOT SEEN WILL THESE WIND COOL COOLS COMING IN TOMORROW? And this is where the danger comes in, because when you go outside it feels like zero outside. FOR LOTS OF PLACES. SOME MAY ALSO FEEL NEGATIVE. As we continue this evening we will see a chance of some light rain here and even a chance of some snow this evening. Right now there are still a few winds with gusts around 30 to even 40 mph depending on where you live. ACTUALLY WE HAVE A WIND GUST RIGHT NOW IN MAYSVILLE AT ABOUT 46 MPH. Winds will continue to gust this evening, around 20 to 30 mph into tomorrow. We could still see some winds blowing around 20 miles per hour. Sustained winds will be more like 15 mph, so all of those things are factors that will contribute to that wind chill. That will drop to around zero tomorrow morning. ALL THANKS TO THIS COLD FRONT HERE THAT WILL ALLOW THE COLD ARCTIC AIR TO GET IN HERE. AND WITH THAT WE WILL SEE THE CHANCE FOR SOME RAINFALL TONIGHT. WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN A FEW LIGHTER showers and that is still possible here. Around 9:00 a.m. there will be a few showers, which are certainly possible. Then, with the arrival of the actual cold front, we have the chance to see the rain turn into a short wintry mix and also briefly into light snowfall. THIS EVENING LIGHT RAINFALL WILL FALL AROUND 9 OR 10:00 AM. MOVE IN. THEN THIS COLD AIR WILL CATCH UP SOME OF THE RAIN, ALLOWING A SHORT CHANGE TO WINTER MIX AND SNOW. This means we could see a few isolated, slippery spots tomorrow morning. Keep this in mind if you have to be first somewhere in the morning because there are slippery places. While I don’t think they will necessarily be widespread, they are still possible, and they will be sneaky, slippery places too. ALSO BY BREAKFAST TOMORROW WE COULD SEE A FEW POULTRY MOVE THROUGH THE AREA. OTHERWISE THE CLOUDS WILL COLLECT HERE FOR THE REST OF THURSDAY. WE WILL SEE SOME SUNSHINE, BUT TOMORROW IT WILL STILL BE WINY, WITH TEMPERATURES FROM 100°C TO 20°C. It feels like temperatures will be somewhere between 0 and 15 degrees during the day tomorrow. So we’re here at 5 a.m. It seems to me that the temperatures are in the single digits in many places. BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT IT’S ABOUT 7 AM, THIS IS USUALLY OUR COLDEST TIME OF THE DAY, AND AT THIS TIME WHILE THE TEMPERATURES ARE JUST LOWERING A LITTLE MORE, THAT’S JUST ENOUGH FOR WE TO HAVE SOME MINUS-FREE WIND COOLS OUT THERE SEE WILL, ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA TO CINCINNATI, PROBABLY GO TO ZERO DEGREES IF YOU CAN’T GET TO ZERO FROM TIME TO TIME TOMORROW. THE REST OF THE DAY, EVEN AT LUNCH, STILL FEELS LIKE THE ONLY PLACES OUTSIDE. IT WILL BE COLD. From start to finish it will be dangerously cold all day at best, we will see temperatures of up to 15°C. It feels like some places are closer to 15 than others, although I believe southeastern Indiana will be the coldest area in the entire DMA tomorrow afternoon and morning, as well as the rest of the week. BUT Eventually we start to warm up, especially when we come Saturday and Sunday. SO FINALLY WARMER WEATHER ON THE WEEKEND. OK, TONIGHT THE WIND WILL BE GUSTING 30 TO 40 GUSTS. We also have the possibility of a short period of rain and snow, resulting in some slippery patches overnight. THEN THE TEMPERATURES WILL BE between 0 and 15°C ALL DAY TOMORROW, with a few thunderstorms. ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY THROUGHOUT THE DAY. AFTER THAT we start to calm down a bit and eventually warm up closer to around 41° for a high Saturday. On Sunday temperatures will be closer to around 46°C. WE HAVE A LOT OF RAIN ON THE WAY. Most of it arrives after 7:00. So if you’re hoping to get out, have some festive fun or decorate the house, you’ve got this
