Daniel Penny celebrates his acquittal with lawyers from the New York Bar Association

Daniel Penny raised a glass with his lawyers to celebrate the acquittal after leaving the courthouse on Monday.

Penny, 26, was seen having drinks with his defense attorneys Thomas Kenniff and Steven Raiser at the Stone Street Tavern in the Financial District, just hours after a jury acquitted him of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jordan Neely.

The Marine veteran and Long Island native could have faced up to four years in prison if convicted.
