Day of severe weather warning: Icy rain on Sunday morning

WANT TO DO IT INSIDE? MORNING. TOMORROW MORNING WILL BE A LITTLE Rough. Depending on where you are. TOMORROW IS THE DAY OF THE SEVERE WEATHER WARNING. We await the potential for a wintry mix, particularly the onset of freezing rain. AND THEN WE’LL ALL COVER TO RAIN IN THE DAY. Depending on where you are, we will decide how early this happens. CITY SOUTH VERY FAST. NORTH AND EAST. It could take a while as we are gradually warming up and the most likely location for ice accumulation is in the Laurel Highlands. LET’S GO THROUGH TOMORROW. From around 7:00 a.m. it starts to rain from the west. TEMPERATURES ARE IMPORTANT TOMORROW. IF IT IS FREEZING OR ABOVE IT WILL RAIN. IF WE ARE FREEZING OR BELOW OR BELOW IT COULD BE FREEZING RAIN OR SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN IS WHAT WE DON’T WANT. THIS CAUSES ICE. AND AS YOU KNOW, NOTHING REALLY WORKS ON ICE. This could be very treacherous for us. Therefore it will start to rain again in the morning hours. Temperatures will be crucial, likely south of the city. When we see freezing rain, it happens very quickly and then we immediately transition to rain. THERE SHOULD BE NO MINOR PROBLEMS NORTH OF CITY AND IN THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS, BUT HERE WE WILL LIKELY START WITH FREEZING RAIN AND/OR SNOW AND LAST A FEW HOURS. THERE WE HAVE ARRIVED OUR WEATHER REGULATIONS FOR THE WINTER. IT WILL BE RAINING IN MOST OF US BY LUNCH. THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS, MAYBE PARTS OF CLARION AND FOREST COUNTIES, AND AFTER THE BATTLES OF LAUREL HIGHLAND. AND THEN WE’LL ALL SEE RAIN IN THE BACK PART OF THE DAY. So we’ll start with a Severe Weather Alert Day and then become an Impact Day as the afternoon progresses as we’ll all get rain at some point so it could be treacherous tomorrow morning. Ice accumulation, if present. AGAIN, PROBABLY NORTH OF CITY, A LIGHT GLAZING THAT COULD BE PROBLEMS ON ROADS AND BRIDGES. ALSO OFF THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS, POTENTIALLY 10 TO 2/10 INCHES OF ICE COULD BE SEEN ON THE ridges of the LAUREL HIGHLANDS. That’s enough to coat the branches of trees, causing them to fall and causing power outages. And that can make traveling very treacherous. IF YOU DON’T HAVE TO TRAVEL TOMORROW, ESPECIALLY IN THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS, I WOULD WAIT TOMORROW UNTIL LATER IN THE DAY SO IT COULD CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS. 40 IS OUR HIGH TEMPERATURE AGAIN. It will take us all day to get there. Rain showers return late Monday, probably after sunset, so this is an impact day. WE WILL WATCH. IT COULD RAIN DURING THE EVENING. WE DRY TUESDAY. FIRST CHANCES OF RAIN FOR US ON WEDNESDAY AT 45. BUT WE ARE DRY FOR THE FIRST TIME. 34 IS THE CURRENT TEMPERATURE. Our dew points are in the 20s. WE GO THERE IN THE EVENING HOURS. We’ll make it cool then
