Denise Richards I will never forget being involved in an apparent road rage shooting incident.

Long before she faces her fears and past traumas Special Forces: The Toughest Test in the Worldformer Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star experienced a frightening situation on the street.

In November 2022, Aaron Phypers was driving to work in Los Angeles with his wife when a bullet suddenly hit the back of the cab of their truck. As they continued driving, the gunman allegedly followed them and eventually blocked their vehicle.

“It wasn’t like we were cut off. All of a sudden this guy was following us,” Richards, 53, said during his appearance on SiriusXM Jeff Lewis Live in February 2023. “He was pretty aggressive, and Aaron tried to lean over, and he stopped, and (the shooter) stopped.”

According to Richards, Phypers, 52, rolled down the window to confront the man.

“He put his hands up and said, ‘I don’t know what you’re upset about.’ “I’m just trying to take my wife to work,” Richards recalls.

While Phypers seemed calm during the unpredictable moments, Richards said her reaction was the opposite.

“I didn’t handle it well,” Richards said Jeff Lewis As she described the moments, she started screaming. “I literally lay on the floor and almost pissed my pants.”

At one point, Richards began jumping out of the truck to escape before Phypers pulled her back in for safety.

She later said to the unidentified person, “Please, I don’t know what we did, but he’s just trying to get me to work.” According to Richards, the man rolled up his window and drove away.

As Richards tried to recover from the experience, the actress encountered some internet trolls.

When a Twitter user suggested it was okay for Richards to be hurt, she replied: “I wouldn’t wish harm on anyone.” You don’t care what I experienced with my husband yesterday. Was the most terrible situation I’ve ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck… a–—–.”

Since the ordeal, Richards has been able to move on and continue to raise her daughters Sami, 20, Lola, 19, and Eloise, 13.

In addition to the main role in Special forcesRichards will also appear in a new reality show focused on those closest to her.
