Denise Richards got extremely vulnerable in the third season premiere of Special Forces: The Toughest Test in the World. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star referenced a 2022 incident in which she was shot while driving in Los Angeles, comparing it to another “terrible” moment in her life that she had never spoken about publicly before.

“We were physically attacked in my husband’s truck. I sat on the floor and literally…I peed. I was so scared. I froze,” she told the instructors in a private meeting during the Wednesday, January 8, episode. “The first time I experienced this was when I was 15. I noticed a man following me. He came up behind me, put his hand around my mouth, grabbed my vagina and started tugging me. I froze. I couldn’t even scream for help.”

Denise said her husband, Aaron Phypers, was the only person she had previously told about the incident. “It’s so scary to be in this situation at this age and to be so vulnerable,” she added. “I have three daughters. I want them to never be able to go through this. And also if something happens, God forbid to be strong enough.”

The actress struggled with the first tasks special forces, This led to the Directorate General Staff (DS) inviting her to a meeting. “I haven’t addressed a lot of what I’ve been through and it’s very frightening,” she said. “I don’t know if I could overcome my past.”

That was Denise’s motivation to take part in the Fox series and prove to herself that she was stronger than she thought. The competition wasn’t easy and Denise even suffered an injury while taking on demanding tasks in Wales.

“I jumped off a bridge and my (breast) implants ripped off that thing,” she said on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live on Jan. 3, adding, “I still need to get it renewed. I was supposed to do it a month ago but couldn’t because we were filming.”

Unfortunately, Denise didn’t stay on the show long. She was eliminated at the end of the January 8 episode after allowing herself to be eliminated from the competition during a “surf immersion” challenge in which players had to link their arms together and sit in the water without breaking the chain .

Denise was the first to disconnect. “Between the bungee from the bridge and the backpack, I have a lower back problem. I can barely walk,” she said, adding, “I don’t want to walk, but I can’t fucking move.”

While Denise asked to sit out and rest for the rest of the challenge, she was told that wasn’t an option. She could either continue…or withdraw, which ultimately resulted in her giving up her armband and becoming the second person to leave the course. Stephen Baldwin left earlier in the episode.
