Dennis Schroder starts in his first game with Warriors vs. Grizzlies

After moving from the Brooklyn Nets to the Golden State Warriors in one of the first moves of the trade season, Dennis Schroder will make his highly anticipated debut on Thursday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. The experienced guard will start in his first game with the Warriors.

Schroder will join Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney in Steve Kerr’s opening game against Ja Morant and the Grizzlies on Thursday.

In his final game with the Nets before the trade, Schroder faced the Grizzlies in Memphis. During the Nets’ loss to the Grizzlies, Schroder scored 15 points in 26 minutes on 6 of 10 shooting from the field, three made 3-pointers, as well as eight assists and three rebounds.

Schroder is averaging 18.4 points on 45.2% shooting from the field, along with 6.6 assists and three rebounds in 23 games with the Nets this season.
