Desert Diamond Arena releases details of $42 million in renovations

PHOENIX – Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale has released details of a $42 million conversion from a sports arena to a music and entertainment complex.

“Desert diamond arena“The $42 million renovation is a transformative investment that solidifies Glendale as a premier entertainment destination in the Southwest,” Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps said in a news release.

“With state-of-the-art amenities, redesigned suites and expanded programming on par with the newest venues across the country, we deliver unforgettable experiences that drive economic growth, attract high-profile events and boost local businesses.”

What is included in the Desert Diamond Arena renovations?

The former home of the Arizona Coyotes will feature 25 remodeled spaces, including updated concession stands in the new Marketplace area and the creation of the Bassline Bar, which will be open before and after shows.

Once completed, Desert Diamond Arena will feature its existing 53 luxury suites and 12 suite lounge lodges, as well as 22 Encore Club theater boxes, 14 Club 623 studio booths and 341 club seats at The View, a VIP club within of the venue.

The project is being led by developer ASM Global in collaboration with UK-based Forward Associates.

The renovations are expected to be completed by spring next year.
