Devin Booker and Kevin Durant smile late at Sun's loss, a hot topic on social media

PHILADELPHIA – Phoenix Suns stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant smiled off the bench late Saturday night in their 126-108 loss to Indiana and immediately became the talk of social media.

On The screenshots were used to quote or respond to Bradley Beal’s post-game comments about the team’s mood after the loss.

“We’re definitely upset,” Beal said. “We are not happy about it. However, it is a good thing. You don’t want the guys to be smiling, happy and (cursing) after four losses. We’re still angry, but we still have to do something about it.

Booker also expressed frustration after the loss.

“(Expletive), spirits are low, man,” Booker said. “We just have to keep fighting. It’s a blessing to even be in this position, but our performance is super ugly at the moment. We keep building. Hopefully these moments will be over later in the season, we will have put them behind us, but at the moment we are in the middle of it.”

There was a stoppage in play when Lee was fouled by Pacers backup Thomas Bryant with 2.9 seconds left. In the Suns broadcast, Grayson Allen and Booker are both standing and talking to each other, while Mason Plumlee sits on the bench between the two.

Durant then joins the conversation with a white Gatorade towel on his head.

The next close-up of Booker and Durant shows the two talking with Beal in the background behind them. Then play switches to Lee at the line.

The Pacers broadcast shows the same close-up of Durant and Booker talking to Beal in the background, but stays on that camera angle longer than the Suns broadcast.

As the camera zooms in, Booker says something to Durant, causing him to smile and nod his head while Booker continues with a serious face.

Booker then smiles along with Durant as they both look at the court from the bench.

The conversation continues as the final seconds tick by and Booker and Durant leave the field as the final horn sounds.

The Suns (15-18) have lost four games in a row. You are 12^Th in the Western Conference and three games under .500 for the first time since January of the 2022-23 season, when they were 21-24.
