DeWitt native Jordyn Wieber appeared on the Fox TV reality series in January

A gold medalist from Michigan is among the celebrities being put to the test on a Fox television reality competition series set to air in January.

Jordyn Wieber, a former U.S. Olympic gymnast, comes to the reality series with decades of athletic experience. According to Fox, she and 15 other celebrities will compete in the third season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” and train in naval warfare in Wales, United Kingdom.

Who is Jordyn Wieber?

Wieber is a gold medalist in Olympic gymnastics and has been the head coach of women’s gymnastics at the University of Arkansas since 2019. Wieber is a native of DeWitt, Michigan and was inducted into the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. Wieber retired from gymnastics in 2015.
