Nowadays, Dick Van Dyke is quite happy with the life he has led.

The “Mary Poppins” actor, who turns 99 on December 13, opened up about his life while appearing in a new music video for Coldplay’s song “All My Love.” The song wasn’t originally written about Van Dyke, but the music video made it a look back at his incredible career.

Filmed at the legendary actor’s home in Malibu, California, the video includes footage of Van Dyke’s many awards and accolades, sweet clips of him and his extended family, and emotional moments of reflection.

“I’m fully aware that I could leave any day now, but I don’t know why, it’s none of my business, I’m not afraid of it,” Van Dyke said in the video. “I have the feeling, completely against everything intellectual, that I will be fine.”

“I think I’m one of those lucky people who was able to make a living doing what I would have done anyway,” he added. “Considering how lucky I am, I get to do what I do: play and act silly.”

The touching video sparked a positive reaction from fans on social media.

“That made me cry with joy. I wish the world had a billion more like him,” one fan commented on the YouTube video.

“In a world full of confusion, uncertainty, war and just plain craziness,” wrote another. “These few minutes are a memory of love, family, friendship, music and dance. A reminder that no matter how old we get, we all start the same way. I know I’ll come back to watch this again and again.”

In September, Van Dyke spoke about how he wanted to be remembered after his Creative Arts Emmy win.

“Laughing,” he said while holding his trophy for outstanding variety special for “Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic.” People magazine. “I hope I can make people laugh for 75 years.”
