The network will re-air the film tonight, Saturday, January 4, at 9pm EST. Although originally scheduled to air at 8 p.m., the broadcast was postponed to accommodate the documentary’s coverage of Jimmy Carter’s death Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President.

The documentary, which premiered on New Year’s Day, quickly became a trending topic online as fans praised the moving retelling of Vandross’ legendary career and deeply personal journey. “Chile, I didn’t know I would get so emotional watching this documentary.
