Diplo ended 2024 on a high — literally.

The 46-year-old DJ shocked Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper when he revealed he was tripping on LSD during his virtual appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve show.

“I’m so curious, what’s the most conventional place you’ve done LSD?” Cohen, 56, asked Diplo.

“Right now,” Diplo replied.

Cooper, 57, burst out laughing as Cohen expressed disbelief at Diplo’s confession.

“Yeah, I did some of it in the helicopter on the way here,” Diplo explained.

“Oh my god, wait. Hold onto. Please tell me. “Are you tripping?” Cohen asked Diplo, who said he was “not even lying.”

Diplo then said, “It’s like an easy journey.”

He added that he was “microdosing” but could have also been “macrodosing” during the day.

After the interview, Cooper said on the show: “I wish I was Diplo. I have to say. I just think he has a fun, cool lifestyle. Can you imagine his lifestyle? “I’m Diplo. I do things.’”

The journalist also told Cohen that he would “definitely start” following Diplo on Instagram.

“I mean… I feel bad about my own boring life compared to Diplo’s,” Cooper said.

“He has helicopters and likes to do things. He liked four shots as we talked. And he will play. How does it work? How does someone do something? I had four shots. I just want to go to sleep.”

Diplo performed three shows at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.

The Grammy winner previously admitted to taking LSD in an interview with Esquire in May 2023.

“I take a lot of LSD, but I don’t trip and look at the stars and say ‘Whaaa?'” he said. “I microdose it, maybe a little more.”

The music producer also revealed that he had consumed LSD while running the Los Angeles Marathon.

“I ran really fast, but I didn’t concentrate on my body. I had a conversation. By the 17th mile my body started to break down. It was the longest run I had ever run and I didn’t even notice it. I attribute it to the LSD,” he said.

“I wouldn’t recommend anyone do it,” Diplo added. “I wanted to experiment. It made time fly by and the worst thing about running is how boring it is. It’s boring as hell.”
