Does Ryan Williams’ latest tattoo make his intentions clear?

It’s transfer portal season in college football and the announcements are coming fast and furious.

When it comes to Alabama, the Crimson Tide has a number of receivers reaching the portal. Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice and Caleb Odom have all declared.

Freshman phenom Ryan Williams didn’t do that, and there was no indication he would either.

The former Saraland High School star recently took to social media with a new tattoo, suggesting he has no plans to go anywhere. The script “A” along with the I-65 reference seems to make it pretty clear.

On Wednesday, the Maxwell Football Club announced that Williams is a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Award, which goes to the nation’s top freshman.

Williams caught 45 passes for 857 yards with eight touchdowns in his first year in Tuscaloosa.

The winner of the prize will be announced on December 29th.

Should the receiver win the award, he would be the third Alabama player to receive the honor, joining Will Anderson Jr. (2020) and Caleb Downs (2023).
