Ariana Grande couldn’t hold back her tears as Drew Barrymore surprised her with a special prop from the original “The Wizard of Oz.”

Grande — who plays Glinda in the prequel film “Wicked” — recently stopped by for a pre-taped appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” which airs Thursday.

“I have something that is extremely exciting and special. It belonged to the Smithsonian,” Barrymore, 49, tells her eager guest in a preview of the interview, causing Grande’s eyes to bulge as she demands, “What are you talking about?”

The host continues, “And now it’s privately owned, but for the purposes of our meeting they lent it to us.”

After Grande, 31, gasps, Barrymore looks around at her crew and asks, “Um, will you please bring out the original Glinda wand?”

The pop star’s hand immediately comes up to cover her mouth as she stares intently in the direction the employee with the wand is coming from.

As Barrymore’s staff presents an emotional Grande with the surprisingly long silver wand with a rhinestone star, the actress exclaims, “Thank you, Angel!”

The “Thank U, Next” singer carefully picks up the famous item and, with her eyes still wide – and seemingly a little misty – says to the man: “Thank you very much.”

She puts her hand to her mouth again as the audience erupts in applause.

“Are you serious now?” she asks Barrymore, who smiles as she nods and holds her clasped hands to her chin.

Grande – wearing a pink strapless corset-style A-line dress – then stands up and pretends to leave the set, saying: “Thanks, guys! It was fun! Bye!”

She quickly turns back around and repeatedly insists, “I’m just kidding!” before resuming her place on the couch next to the “Charlie’s Angels” star.

“How did you even do that? Oh my God, did you break in?” Grande asks Barrymore, who explains, “I have to give credit to everyone on this show because we were literally so excited that you came here. We said, ‘Okay, let’s get the wand!'”
