Dry and mild Sunday, pouring rain tonight

All right, let’s talk a little about the weather this Sunday morning as we look upstream of the Ohio River to the east, the skies are currently calm and mostly clear and cool. BUT NOTHING TOO COLD, ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO WHAT WE SAW YESTERDAY MORNING WHERE LOWS ARE IN THE LOWER MIDDLE 20S IN MOST LOCATIONS, IN THE UPPER 30S IN E-TOWN. AT 38 YOU’RE ON THE COOLER SIDE, BUT IN THE LOW 40S. THE RULE UNTIL THE MID-40S AT MUHAMMAD ALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. There’s a bit of a breeze so it feels like, no, it feels like the numbers outside of the city are closer to the mid 30s. It’s actually freezing cold in E-Town, on both sides of the 40 degrees in the metro. That’s why I still think we want the coats and jackets out there to start the morning. A LITTLE COVER OF CLOUDS WILL MOVE ACROSS OUR SKY, BUT IT IS MORE THAT WHAT DEVELOPS TO THE SOUTH AND WEST THAT WILL INCREASE OUR CLOUDS LATER TODAY AND BRING A CHANCE OF RAIN INTO TONIGHT. But by the afternoon I think we’ll be in good shape, dry and mild. Although we will still see a few clouds later in the day. HEIGHT. THE BEST 50 FROM YESTERDAY SINCE WE ARE AT 58. YOU WILL NOTICE A SMALL SOUTHWEST BREEZE. NOTHING TOO GUSTY BUT ABOUT 10 TO 15 MPH. This sometimes makes it feel a little cooler. We’ll only reach the upper 40s tonight, but drenching rain is becoming increasingly likely across our area. Here you can find out what it looks like on the forecast radar. We are dry from morning to afternoon. YOU STILL SEE SOME CLOUDS BUT HERE WE ARE AT 5:00 AM. Maybe a few showers in the south and west. WHEN YOU WATCH US IN BRECKENRIDGE, GRAYSON COUNTY, NEAR LITCHFIELD, YOU MAY SEE A LIGHT SHOWER rounding out the day, but as we get past sunset, you’ll notice the chance of rain actually increasing from southwest to northeast during we move into THE EVENING HOURS. FROM 9 TO 10:00 WE WILL START DOING A BETTER ROUND OF SOME SHOWER SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE AREA. This will continue for most of the night, so it will rain all day until tomorrow morning. By 8:00 a.m. most of the rain will subside. I don’t think we’re completely dry. There will still be a few showers on the trailing edge of this system, but most of the rain will be gone. Now we’re stuck in the clouds tomorrow afternoon, and while a drop or two of drizzle is possible, we’re generally drier by Monday afternoon. WE JUST WON’T SEE MUCH SUNSHINE AROUND THE AREA, BUT TEMPERATURES WILL GO BACK INTO THE UPPER 50S SO WE’LL BE ABOUT TEN DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE NEXT TWO DAYS. We’re waiting for rain late tonight and into the early morning today, and then as we head into the next round of our Tuesday with a few showers, everything looks bright in nature and brings a cold front with temperatures starting to drop to 49°C on Tuesday A VERY COOLER WEDNESDAY, MAYBE A A few showers flying out of the clouds there, but nothing that would cause any problems. AND WHILE THE HIGH HIGH ON OUR THURSDAY WAS ONLY CLOSE TO 37, WE STARTED TO BACK UP BY THE END OF THE WEEK. FRIDAY WE WILL BE 48. ON SATURDAY WE WILL GO UP TO 51 DEGREES. BU
