“Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson suffers from Alzheimer’s and a blood disorder, his family revealed on their podcast “Unashamed with the Robertson Family.”

“Phil is not doing well,” Jase said of his father on the podcast, which focuses on the family’s deep Christian faith. “He can’t do much and it just hurts him.”

Robertson, 78, who founded his Duck Commander company selling VHS hunting videos and duck calls from his vehicle before finding fame with his wife “Miss Kay” and sons on the hit reality series “Duck Dynasty.” He sometimes has difficulty communicating with others, his son said.
