Eagles vs. Giants Week 18: First Quarter Results Updates

The Philadelphia Eagles will conclude the 2024 NFL regular season at home at The Linc against the New York Giants.

Both teams look significantly different than they did when they met 11 weeks ago – with the Eagles, head coach Nick Sirianni revealed his plan to rest starters, and with the Giants, they released Daniel Jones and rotated back and forth between backup players since then.

The Eagles won the NFC East, secured home-field advantage in the postseason thanks to the No. 2 seed, and are ready to turn their attention to their next challenge. We’ll find out after Sunday’s games whether they’ll face the Washington Commanders or the Green Bay Packers in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Staying healthy is the top priority on Sunday, but a lot of young players and experienced guys will get some very valuable reps. We’ll get a chance to see what QB Tanner McKee can do with four quarters at the helm and get a glimpse of the potential of Jahan Dotson and Ainias Smith in Philly’s system.

Ending the season with a win is great, but if the Giants somehow manage to secure a win, it will at least put them further down the draft order – they previously held the No. 1 overall pick, but thanks their Week 17 win over the Colts, they have now fallen out of the top three.
