Elon Musk reveals Mounjaro’s weight loss

Instead of spreading Christmas cheer, Elon Musk celebrated the holiday in a Santa Claus costume by promoting weight-loss medications while showing off his figure.

On Wednesday, the tech billionaire caused a stir on his platform X, formerly Twitter posted a photo of yourself in front of a Christmas tree wearing Santa’s traditional red suit and white beard – without the big, round belly that St. Nick is known for.

“Ozempic Santa,” he captioned the photo.

Tesla’s CEO, whom President-elect Donald Trump named to co-head his proposed Department of Government Efficiency after the election, teased in a Follow-up post“Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!”

Musk explained this in a separate article post that he didn’t actually take Ozempic, but “technically Mounjaro”, although he said the latter “doesn’t have the same ring to it”.

Ozempic and Mounjaro are medications designed to help people with diabetes regulate their blood sugar and insulin levels. However, the medications that sometimes are Prescribed off-label Weight loss remedies have become increasingly popular since celebrities and influencers began promoting them as a way to lose weight.

In another postMusk admitted to trying Ozempic first, but said the high doses made him “fart and burp like Barney from the Simpsons.”

“Mounjaro appears to have fewer side effects and be more effective,” he added.

The SpaceX founder’s stance on the controversial drugs stands in stark contrast to that of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – Trump’s pick for the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

While Musk has expressed support for the widespread use of drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro to combat America’s obesity epidemic, Kennedy argued that it would be more effective to encourage Americans to eat healthier.

“If we gave every man, woman and child in our country good food, three meals a day, we could end the obesity and diabetes epidemic overnight,” Kennedy said said Fox News in October.

He added that makers of weight-loss drugs “are counting on selling them to Americans because we’re so stupid and addicted to drugs.”

However, Musk argued in one X contribution Earlier this month, I said that producing the drugs at a “super-low cost to the public” would significantly improve Americans’ health.

“Nothing would improve the health, longevity and quality of life of Americans more than making GLP inhibitors available to the public at extremely low cost,” he wrote. “Nothing else even comes close.”
