Elton John has shared a glimpse into his family’s Christmas with a collection of snaps from his celebrations.

The 77-year-old music legend recently spoke about how she lost her eyesight after an infection and is therefore unable to see, read or watch anything.

Elton shared snaps from the festive season with his husband David Furnish on Instagram on Tuesday.

Elton suddenly beamed as he sat next to David at his music company Rocket Entertainment’s Christmas dinner.

Meanwhile, he also presented a lavish birthday cake for his son Zachary and their adorable black Labradors, who were cozying up under the tree.

The singer’s Christmas decorations were typically whimsical, with tables full of colorful dishes and iconic tree decorations from the Rocketman himself and Miranda Priestley from Devil Wears Prada.

Elton shared the snaps and wrote: “Random holiday photo dump.” From Rocket Team’s Christmas dinner to Zachary’s birthday. We relaxed and took it easy. So beautiful

“We hope everyone had a peaceful and happy holiday with family and friends.” See you in 2025 ❤️ Much love, E xx.”

Elton’s cozy Christmas comes after he revealed last month that his “health has never been better”, despite ongoing problems following the loss of his eyesight.

Elton appeared on Good Morning America in December alongside his husband David to chat with Robin Roberts about his life, career and the personal challenges featured in his new documentary.

In the interview, the music legend explained: “Unfortunately I lost my vision in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the south of France and it’s been four months now that I haven’t been able to see.”

“And my left eye isn’t the best, so. There is hope and encouragement that everything will be okay, and we take the initiative to try to make it better. That’s what we’re really focused on right now.”

When asked to elaborate on his current health to reassure worried fans, Sir Elton quipped: “David and I always get our blood tests done every six months in Los Angeles.” Our health has never been better.

“It’s never lucky that something like this happens.” “I can’t see anything, I can’t read anything, I can’t see anything.”

The hitmaker, who made his final appearances last summer, revealed his vision problems in September.

He shared a lengthy post on his Instagram explaining how he spent the last few months “recovering at home.”

Elton wrote: “Over the summer I struggled with a serious eye infection which unfortunately left me with limited vision in one eye.”

“I am recovering, but it is an extremely slow process and it will take some time before the affected eye can see again.”

“I am so grateful for the excellent medical and nursing team and my family who have taken such good care of me over the last few weeks.”

Elton concluded: “I have spent the summer quietly recovering at home and am positive about the progress I have made so far in my healing and recovery.”

And his health problems have undermined any new music from the star.

Elsewhere in the interview he said: “I can do something like that, but I don’t know how to go into the studio and record because I can’t see the lyrics at first.”

“We are taking the initiative to do better, but for now that is what we are focused on.”
