Everton are winless in their last 11 Premier League games against Aston Villa (D3 L8), having previously won six of their last eight games against Aston Villa (D1 L1).

Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last five Premier League away games against Everton (W3 D2) and have kept a clean sheet in their last three games. They have never played four away games without conceding a goal against the Toffees in their league history.

Only Southampton have won fewer Premier League games (1) and scored fewer goals (12) than Everton (3 wins, 15 goals) in the Premier League this season. However, after losing their first four games in the competition this season, the Toffees have since lost just four of their last 15 (W3 D8).

Aston Villa have lost each of their last five away games in the Premier League, conceding at least two goals in each defeat. It is the longest away defeat in a single competitive season since losing the last seven such games in the 2015/16 season.
