2025 on Disney+ begins with Marvel’s first in-house animated series inspired by Spider-Man. Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (which was first announced a few years ago as Spider-Man: Freshman Year) follows Peter Parker in his earliest days as a spider-powered superhero.

The series’ twists on the classic Peter story include: Norman Osborn is now his mentor rather than his main adversary. The series’ voice cast includes Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, Hugh Dancy as Doctor Octopus and Charlie Cox, who reprises his role as Marvel’s Daredevil.

Other highlights on Disney+ in January include a new season of the nature series The life of a real beetlethe Disney+ debut of the children’s horror series Goosebumps: The Disappearanceand the conclusion of the first season of the current one star Wars Live-action series Skeleton crew. (I hope these crazy kids come home. I wouldn’t be surprised if the season ends on a cliffhanger, though.)
