Morning temperatures will be brutal, in the upper 20s. There is a chance of severe weather in the mountains on Monday morning as another blast of colder air comes through later in the day. The northern part of the state will remain dry and high temperatures will only be in the mid 40s. Heavy frost is expected Monday night into Tuesday morning and Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Low temperatures these days will be in the low 20s, making it the coldest weather in the short term. There is no chance of rain or snow on either day. Looking further afield, temperatures will warm slightly next Thursday and Friday as lows rise back above freezing. Expect lows in the mid 30s and highs in the 50s. There is a chance of severe weather in the mountains on Monday morning as another blast of colder air moves through throughout the day. It will remain dry in the north of the state and high temperatures will only be in the mid 40s.

Heavy frost is expected Monday night into Tuesday morning and Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Low temperatures these days will be in the low 20s, making it the coldest weather in the short term. There is no chance of rain or snow on either day.

Looking further afield, temperatures will be slightly warmer next Thursday and Friday as low temperatures rise above freezing again. Expect lows in the mid 30s and highs in the 50s.

In the Upstate, Friday is the only day with a chance of precipitation next week, but the chance of rain is low.
