Fans tear apart Ravens star Justin Tucker as field goal struggles continue

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker’s field goal woes continued, however, as he missed a chip shot for the extra point. As Tucker’s accuracy continued to decline, fans on social media didn’t hold back.

“It’s time to sit down Justin Tucker down like a 16 year old yellow lab,” said one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Justin Tucker is finished. The Ravens need to cut him,” another person added.

Mike McDaniel Nixed Campbell to Ravens Trade

The Ravens have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL this season. They have an 8-4 record and are in second place in a competitive AFC North Division. But if you could call Baltimore a glaring weakness heading into the playoffs, it would be their defense. It was one of the worst in the NFL this season.

The Ravens tried to improve Baltimore’s defense before the November 5 trade deadline. According to ESPN NFL Insider Ian Rapaport, the Ravens attempted to poach veteran defensive lineman Calais Cambell from the Miami Dolphins. However, the trade was ultimately nixed by Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.

Calais Campbell was the goal. He had been successful in Baltimore before and the Ravens hoped he would do it again. Rapaport writes.

“But as the deal got closer, sources said, the Dolphins resisted. “In the hectic two days before the deadline, sources involved at various points believed that a deal would be struck and Campbell would return to Baltimore.”

Until Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel stepped in. According to sources, McDaniel stopped the deal because he believed Campbell was too valuable to lose. McDaniel said this to Campbell’s face in a meeting.
