Season 26 was a roller coaster ride, with two new coaches, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg.

“My strategy was to watch, listen and learn,” Snoop Dogg said of his first day at Blind Auditions. “First of all, I’m glad I didn’t have to be first (during the blinds). They made me go to second or third so I could watch the other coaches and see what they were doing. And once I understood that, I was able to add some snoopism to the situation in terms of my conversation and jargon to get the artist to come home.”

Bublé said of the blind auditions experience: “Honestly, it’s not what I do best. It’s hard to advocate for yourself in this way. And when I did that, I tried to do it with humor, to be self-deprecating and to hope that in that way you can break down barriers. I think in other seasons where there was a different energy, it would have been more difficult for me, like the coaches were more against each other. But I tried to be sincere, to tell people that maybe I could help them, and also to use humor to break down those walls. Because my father always said: If you’re good, you don’t have to tell people.”

Bublé will return The voice in season 27 as a coach alongside John Legend, Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini. Premiering Monday, February 3rd at 8/7c on NBC.
