First Round CFP Reactions: Ohio State is SO back and home-field advantage means EVERYTHING | College Football Power Hour

The first round of the 12-team College Football Playoff is officially underway. Penn State, Texas and Ohio State each advance to the quarterfinals after overwhelming victories.

Caroline, Fitz and Adam share their overarching reactions to the first-ever first-round games, including the importance of home-field advantage and why blowouts always happen, no matter how big the playoffs are. The trio cancels each of the Saturday games and gives up their “Power House” and “Power Outage” from round 1. Penn State’s defense proved its worth as it wreaked havoc on Kevin Jennings and SMU. Texas has shown that they can beat almost anyone when their running game is in full swing.
