PHOENIX – Flying out of Phoenix Sky Harbor? Before you head to the airport to get on your way this holiday season, check the website for delays.

The airport is reporting 11 delayed flights between 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, and 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, as of 5:10 a.m. Dec. 23.

At the height of the delays, Sky Harbor reported nearly 80 delayed flights.

Many of the delayed flights were on Southwest Airlines.

Southwest experienced many leisure travel issues in 2022. According to the Department of Transportation, the airline canceled or significantly delayed over 16,900 flights between December 21, 2022 and January 2, 2023.

Other airlines with cancellations listed were:

• Sun County Airlines
• Jet Blue Airways
• United Airlines
• Air Canada

• British Airways
