Flirt with 80° to start the new working week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Mild weather will continue into the start of the work week, but things will cool down into next weekend.

Tonight until Monday evening

Another quiet night is coming in our area. We will stay dry with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Low temperatures bottom out in the mid-50s. Patchy fog may occur in some areas.

We expect continued mild weather to start the new work week as high pressure remains under control. On Monday it will be dry with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

We’ll stay quiet for Monday evening. Overnight lows will be in the mid 50s under mostly clear skies.

Stay above average before the next chance of rain

Another mild, dry day is expected for Tuesday. Temperatures will rise to the high 70s and low 80s with mostly sunny skies. Low temperatures will only fall into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

We’re tracking our next weather system on Wednesday. Some good news: This weather system appears to be relatively weak, so we don’t expect a threat of severe weather, but scattered showers are possible. Highs will reach in the mid to upper 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

The trend behind this mid-week system is for it to become drier and cooler in the second half of the working week. On Thursday, temperatures will rise to the upper 60s and lower 70s with mostly sunny skies. However, lows will fall into the lower 40s by Friday morning.

Advanced forecast

Looking ahead, we expect below average weather again next weekend.

We will stay dry and sunny on Friday. Highs will reach the mid 60s and lows will be in the upper 30s.

The weather forecast for the coming weekend looks dry and sunny. However, the temperatures seem to be cooler.

Highs for Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s, while overnight lows will be in the mid and upper 30s.
