Florida is bracing for another cold front. How cold will it be?

Floridians enjoying the cold weather may think winter has already begun, with freezing temperatures reaching the 30s and freeze warnings in northern parts of the state.

According to the National Weather Service Mobile/Pensacola office, cold northerly winds are expected to continue bringing cold weather to Florida for the remainder of the week, with low temperatures expected to drop above 30°C again across most of the state.

Freeze warnings have been issued as far south as Ocala, and freeze warnings extend from Daytona Beach on the east coast to Homosassa Springs on the west coast.

The brunt of the cold front will continue through Tuesday evening before easing slightly Thursday, where a high of around 70 degrees is expected in northwest Florida. Temperatures will drop again Thursday evening and remain low until around Sunday.
