The lottery operator, working with lottery retailer ZaZa Accessories, illegally acted as an intermediary for the purchase of lottery tickets.

“We are fully committed to supporting the integrity of the Florida Lottery, which benefits education in our state while ensuring that every player has the opportunity to participate in fair play,” said John F. Davis, Secretary of the Florida Lottery. “Bad actors, be careful.”

“The actions of this online courier service and lottery retailer not only violate state law, but also jeopardize the experience of our loyal players and retailers who operate with integrity,” added Florida Lottery Director of Security Steven Harriett. “We will continue to work closely with law enforcement to root out illegal activity and maintain the public’s trust in the Florida Lottery.”

The Florida Lottery recommends that participants purchase tickets only through authorized retailers as purchasing tickets through a third party is illegal.
