Florida State football recruiting: 4-star edge rusher Tylon Lee commits

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles had success acquiring numerous blue-chips from other schools in the early signing period. They got some great news today in the form of another 2025 signee, this time taking a blue-chip prospect from Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Tylon Lee, a 6’4″, 245-pound edge rusher from Pace High School in Milton, Florida, has joined #Tribe25. Harrold was committed to Ole Miss for a little over a month after transferring from the UCF Knights, but a big push from the Seminoles and a subsequent official visit to Tallahassee for the UF game sealed the deal for the Seminoles. After a brief stint with the “Sip,” he will now reunite with former UCF head coach Gus Malzahn.

A four-star prospect, the 247Sports Composite ranks Lee as the 287th-best player in the country (30th-best prospect, 40th-best player in Florida).

This season, Lee has 87 tackles (40 for loss – yes, 40!), 28 QB hurries, six sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. As a junior, he finished with 61 tackles (including 20 for losses), 24 QB hurries, five sacks and two forced fumbles. As a sophomore, he had 88 tackles (including 10 for losses), 24 QB hurries, three and a half sacks and three pass breakups.

He chose the Seminoles over 25 other offers from the likes of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kansas Jayhawks, Louisville Cardinals, Miami Hurricanes, Penn State Nittany Lions, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers and Virginia Tech -Hokies.
